Criadores de Rioja belongs to a family with one of the longest traditions in Rioja winemaking, near Logroño, in the heart of Rioja Alta. Mature vines grown at high altitudes (300-500m) on gravel and sand produce low-cost quality fruit that post fermentation is aged six months in American oak barrels.
